At African Economic Development Solutions (AEDS), we strive to connect and build vibrant communities with creativity and social connection.
We conduct ongoing community engagement to ensure African immigrants have a voice in community. By leveraging diverse businesses, as well as arts and cultural assets along transit corridors, we serve as a cultural broker in advocating for smart policies that promote the growth of African immigrant businesses.

Taste of Africa
Small Business Activation
Taste of Africa is a monthly small business activation series launched by AEDS in partnership with the African Museum, Arts, and Cultural Center (AMACC). Each month, we spotlight a small business in our community — bringing art, cultural programming, and community gatherings directly to their doors to drive traffic, visibility, and real support for the entrepreneurs who shape our neighborhoods.
We show up. We celebrate. We shop local.
